Repayment time limit

There is no time limit on how long you have to repay your loan. Repayments depend entirely on your financial circumstances. So if you have an annual income below the repayment threshold, which is currently £15,000 for earnings and £2,000 for any unearned income(i.e. income from savings), you will not have to start making repayments until your income gets above the threshold. The higher your income, the more quickly you will repay your loan.
