Can I claim Housing Benefit while I am a student?

You cannot usually get Housing Benefit if you are a full-time student but you may be able to get it if you are disabled or have children. Check here for more information or contact your local council.

You may also want to have a look at the NUS - 2007/08 Welfare Information Sheets for more information.
