Caring for someone

It is estimated that six million adults in England act as a carer for a sick, elderly or disabled person. That person may be a spouse, partner, child, parent or other relative who is cared for on an informal basis. In addition foster carers and shared lives carers provide care on a more formal basis. Many of these carers also juggle their caring responsibilities with other work. In this part of the website we cover some of the relevant issues.
