In this section we are directing visitors to calculators we have reviewed. This does not mean to say that all aspects of these calculators are necessarily correct but we think they are the most useful on the web at the moment. Tax Central tax tools
This is a very useful tax tool containing various different calculators - you can check your payslip and your tax code, check if you are due a tax rebate and if so how much and work out student loan repayments. There are a number of planning calculators such as a pension relief calculator, annuity relief calculator, Inheritance tax calculator. In addition you can find benefit in kind calculators for employees and some investment calculators to help you work out your bank interest & dividends. Finally you can work out what stamp duty or VAT you might have to pay.
Guardian Money calculators This section contains calculators on comparing who offers best fuel costs e.g gas or electricity, mortgage amount & repayments, pension contributions, loan payments & repayments
debt consolidation, savings & looking at what your investments will be worth.
Budget calculator This is the Financial Services Authority (FSA) budget calculator which is designed to help you manage your money and see if you have a shortfall or surplus of income.
WorkSMART WorkSMART provides free calculators - a salary checker to see if you are paid what you are worth, an interactive pension calculator and an unpaid overtime calculator.
Child Trust Fund calculator This calculator allows you to estimate the final value of the Child Trust Fund account when your child turns 18.
Revenue company Car and car fuel benefit calculator
This calculator
allows you to calculate the 'benefit in kind' value of a company car and (if appropriate) the car fuel benefit.
