Your coding notice

If you have an occupational or works pension - you will be getting a coding notice each year. In "Your Coding Notice" we take a look at what is actually on your coding notice and explain what the letters and numbers mean.

We take a look at some special kinds of code number and show you how to work out your tax based on your code number.



If you get a coding notice (also called a PAYE coding notice), it helps to be able to check that the Revenue have got it right.
