Disability Living Allowance reform – LITRG response

Published on 18 February 2011

Disability Living Allowance is to be reformed, to be replaced in due course by a new ‘Personal Independence Payment’. LITRG has responded to the Department for Work and Pensions’ consultation on the reforms. We are particularly interested in the interactions of the tax, tax credits and benefits systems and it is against this particular background that we have considered and commented on the proposals in the consultation document.

The original consultation document can be found on the DWP website.
