Zero hours employment contracts

The LITRG welcomes the opportunity to respond to this consultation on behalf of those who have written to us with their concerns of the consequences of being on a zero hours contract. Our response illustrates that the problems low paid workers on zero hours contracts face are often more to do with insufficient support from the system rather than the actual contracts themselves.
