BEIS Labour Market Inquiry

Over the summer we made a submission to the BEIS inquiry Post-pandemic economic growth: UK labour markets, majoring on false self-employment and taking the opportunity to make the point that better PAYE enforcement on HMRC’s part could help tackle all manner of labour market ills, under the question ‘What can the Government do to improve protection for people in low-paid work and the gig economy?’
