HMRC’s online customer forums will close on 30 June 2025. If you like to use the forums, make sure you get any remaining queries in by the beginning of June. 

From 6 May, HMRC will no longer provide Unique Taxpayer References (UTR) over the phone.

The government has commissioned a new independent review of the Loan Charge. A call for evidence has now been published, closing on 30 May 2025. Individuals wishing to respond are asked to do so at their earliest opportunity, using the form provided. 

HMRC previously announced that Industrial action would impact some HMRC employer helplines between 23 December 2024 and 14 March 2025. This has now been extended to 16 May 2025 HMRC say they have robust plans in place to ensure they continue delivering critical services.
